ACI Asia Pacific Elects New Board Members

Mr. James Bennett, Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (UAE) and Mr. Rodolfo Echeverria, Chief Financial Officer of Airport International Group (Jordan) have been unanimously elected to fill the two vacancies of the Airports Council International (ACI) Asia Pacific Regional Board. The new Board Members will serve a three-year term with immediate effect.

Tan Sri Bashir Ahmad Abdul Majid, President, ACI Asia Pacific and Managing Director, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, said, “I wish to welcome the new members of the Regional Board. The two new board members, with extensive experience in the airport industry will be great assets to the Regional Board.”

Mrs. Maggie Kwok, Regional Director of ACI Asia Pacific added, “I truly look forward to working closely with Mr. Bennett and Mr. Echeverria. The Regional Office appreciates the guidance from our Regional Board to shape our policy and overall development. I am confident that this new Board composition will bring new insights to the ACI Asia Pacific Region.”

ACI Asia Pacific Regional Board is a governing body which determines the overall development strategy of ACI Asia Pacific region. The Board is composed of 24 aviation business leaders across the region.
